Located on the Essex side of the Thames Estuary, Grays Station serves the small town of the same name and is surrounded by heavy industry down by the river. The station is on the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway which connects the Essex docklands and marsh towns with the coast and central London at Fenchurch Street terminus.
