This station is located on the Bletchley-Bedford Marston Vale Line and is situated on the outskirts of the large Buckinghamshire town of Milton Keynes. The purpose of the station is to provide easy access to the town centre for the people of the suburbs and also to allow people to leave the suburban area for other towns without having to travel into the centre.
