This station is close to the old town of the beautiful country town of Beaconsfield in the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire. The station is actually located in the new town area of the community that is dominated by modern housing and shopping facilities, but a short walk into the old town will reveal some wonderful old buildings, markets and churches. The town is surrounded by ancient woodland and protected by a greenbelt that preserves the magnificent countryside.
