Attenborough Station is effectively in a part of the City of Nottingham although it is really in a small village on the edge of the city. It is with this small village that both Richard and David Attenborough share their names for stage and screen. Probably the most famous attraction to the area is the Attenborough Nature Reserve that is one of the finest collections of rare plant and wildlife in the area.
