Carlisle Station is the largest railway interchange in the area. Often referred to as the Citadel Station, it stands at the centre of the small city within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions and shopping streets. The station is on the West Coast Main Line and has regular long distance services to many of Britain’s major cities.
