This station is relatively unusual in that it’s a request stop. It is on the scenic and very beautiful Cumbria Coastal Line that tours some of Cumbria’s most beautiful towns and villages. The station is set in a rural location in a wonderfully small and quaint community whose residents use the railway as a lifeline to access the larger surrounding towns.
