Troon Station serves the rail transport needs of the South Ayrshire town of Troon in Scotland. The area is best known for Royal Troon Golf Course which is not far from the station and hosted the Open Championship in 2004. The station is well served by the Ayrshire Railway Line and extra trains run for major golfing tournaments.
