This station is the principle transport interchange for those wishing to acces both the community of Leuchars and St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Several railway lines serve the station including the East Coast Main Line and the Virgin Cross Country Route as well as the Edinburgh to Aberdeen Railway.
