Situated close to the Firth of Tay on the eastern edge of Scotland Broughton Ferry Station serves the Dundee suburb of the same name. Although many local residents like to think of the area as a separate town it has to all intent and purposes become a part of Dundee. The station is well used by locals who commute into the city centre.
