This station lies between the two Scottish villages of Arrochar and Tarbet. Arrochar is overlooked by the magnificent Arrochar Alps mountain range and is particularly known for the craggy summit known as the Cobbler. Tarbet stands on the banks of one of Scotlands most beautiful natural attractions Loch Lomand. The area has become the frontline of ‘squirrel wars’ between red and grey squirrels both of whom have great numbers in the area.
