Situtaed on the River Leven four miles to the west of Dumarton, Alexandria Station serves Alendria, a large town in West Dumbartonshire in Scotland. Traditionally the town was associated with cotton making, bleaching and printing, but sadly all of these professions have begun to die out. The town centre was redeveloped in the 1970s and therefore has a good selection of shopping facilities. The town station on the road between Glasgow and Loch Lomand.
